Old Fisherman’s Grotto Great spot for fresh seafood. The waiters will try and upsell you on a bottle of water vs fresh iced water in a glass, but the atmosphere and food were amazing!

Excellent service and food 4 of us had dinner here and we all enjoyed the meal. Our server, Sal (or maybe Sol? Pronounced a bit like Saul), was excellent - very attentive.

Great Food & Service Not only was the food excellent, the waiter was especially friendly - and they sat me next to the window with a lovely view of the bay! As a solo traveler, I sometimes get ignored or get the worst table in the restaurant. That could not have been further from the truth. The waiter even gave me recommendations for things to do outside of Monterey. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing Wow - what a fabulous experience from start to finish!we were made to feel very welcome and the menu choice was extensive - I had the Captains plate which had prawns salmon lobster and scallops - the portions were huge.We didn’t have a desert but they looked amazing.The ladies were given red roses at the end of the meal which was a lovely touch

Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Highly recommended restaurant in Old Fisherman’s Wharf, Monterey. Food portion was big and quality of food is great. The clam chowder soup with a toasted garlic sourdough was so delish. We had the oysters for appetizers and they were fresh. Local Rock Cod Parmesan crusted was so flavorful. We opted out of desserts since we didn’t have anymore room. Although, I should say that their dessert selection was pretty good. Before we left, our waitress handed me and my daughter a long stem rose. That for sure tells you how their service is top notch.

Best seafood meal ever The Alaskan Halibut special was my husbands favorite seafood meal “ever”. Large portions, and amazing flavors. My shrimp Louie salad was a great combination for the palate. Again a very generous serving. The waiter was perfectly attentive. The view of the water and entertaining sea lions was fun.

Quick decision was a good one! Pleasantly surprised…loved the sautéed rock fish with nicely done vegetables. Sitting by the window watching the sea lions was so entertaining too!

Clam Chowder I've been here a couple times and both times. I've had the garlic buttered sourdough bread bowl clam chowder. It's amazing! Atmosphere is excellent. With ocean views and seal lions. Service was excellent! I will definitely come back.

Worlds greatest desserts The meals were really good and the desserts were out p of those world. We called out the pastry chef, Jusn Ponce, to double & triple thank him for these uber-delicious treats! So worth it to stop in! Caution, they are very large!!!
